MADE IN COLOMBIA

ABOUT

We are Juliana and Andres, a couple of doctors from Nariño Southern Colombia

Who decided to leave our professions to dedicate ourselves to preserving and uplifting the artisanal hatmaking craft.

We founded Superior Hats in 2018, guided by the heritage of our families and master artisans from different parts of the world.

Since 2018, we have continuously made custom, highly refined hats to clients from over the world. In 2020, we moved our workshop to Pasto, Nariño, to work with our local community. After training a new generation of apprentices, today we have a team with whom we share a mystique for this noble craft.

At Superior Hats we handcraft unique artisanal hats

Prioritizing customer satisfaction and meticulously selecting biodegradable regional materials. Each piece represents our love for this noble craft and interweaves the dreams of local communities in Nariño.

We seek maximum quality and durability in our timeless pieces. Over 90% of our hats are eco-friendly. We offer reuse alternatives to extend their useful life and encourage mindful consumption.

We count on the talent of 13 expert weavers, 4 artisans and university interns. Together we strive to improve socioeconomic conditions in Nariño, benefiting 18 families.

Our work is a form of resistance against fast, disposable fashion. We are determined to create pieces with soul that tangibly reflect a love for handmade items built to last and inspire a more mindful, sustainable world.
