These Panama hat bodies embody generations of weaving expertise from our artisans in Sandoná, Nariño, Colombia. The Fino quality features 15-17 horizontal fibers per inch, creating a lightweight, soft material that forms the perfect foundation for classic Panama hats. 

Versatile Application
These bodies can be used with pre-formed blocks matching the crown height, though they can also be paired with traditional open crown blocks and subsequently hand-shaped. They contain no added gums or stiffeners, giving hatmakers complete flexibility in their finishing process.

  Shipping Policy for Hat Bodies (Unfinished Felts and Straws)

  We offer free shipping on all of our products—except for hat bodies (both straw and felt)—due to their unique shipping conditions. These items are lightweight but bulky, and sometimes matching or exceeding the product’s price.

  Because of this, shipping for hat bodies is calculated separately. After you complete your purchase, we will personally calculate the shipping cost based on the destination and the box size required. We will then send you a secure payment link for the exact shipping fee.

  Once the shipping fee is paid, we will share the tracking information and ensure your order is safely on its way.
